What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Consumer and Healthcare Group is currently seeking an experienced HC Truck Driver to join our team in Crestmead, QLD. In this role, you will transport refrigerated (cold storage) products from our central distribution hub to local retail customers across the Brisbane metro area. You will operate a semi-trailer within our modern fleet of automatic Volvo trucks, ensuring efficient and safe delivery outcomes. This is a permanent afternoon shift role (Mon–Fri, 2:00pm – 10:00pm), with opportunities for overtime. Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold Linfox safety standards at all times, with a strong focus on Vision Zero
  • Safely operate a semi-trailer transporting cold storage goods within the local area
  • Comply with coupling and uncoupling procedures
  • Maneuver side curtains where required
  • Deliver excellent customer service and represent Linfox professionally
  • Demonstrate sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and road transport legislation
  • Complete yard duties as required

Are you the one?

We are looking for a motivated HC driver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You will bring:

  • Current and valid HC licence with a strong safety record
  • Experience operating semi-trailers, ideally within refrigerated transport
  • Good knowledge of the Brisbane metro area
  • Ability to perform occasional manual handling tasks
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • A proactive attitude and positive approach to work
