The Information Technology Directorate delivers high quality ICT Strategic services to support learning, teaching, research and business functions within the University. The Information Technology Directorate is responsible for the planning, management and delivery of information technology and services across the University to ensure the development and implementation of enhanced delivery systems and infrastructure to support the University Strategic Plan and activities.As the ILM AD Systems Specialist you will:
• Develop a strategy for the management of lifecycle events such as on-boarding and off-boarding user accounts.• Design architecture for end to end User life cycle management, workflows and policies to enhance user profile management.• Develop Source-to-Target Mappings for data flowing of staff on-boarding & de-provisioning in sync with HR systems when Staff joins or leaves ACU.• Develop role based access controls for different access levels and their respective administration tasks• Develop account auditing, compliance and reporting.• Assist in the management of the current Identity management and SSO systems with other IT operational teams.• Improve processes for emergency suspension or termination or reinstatement of accounts in cases such as disciplinary action and security code of conduct violation.• Develop delegated administration and workflows involving automated approval emails for users requesting account creation and access.• Assist in implementing Azure AD Multi Factor Authentication that will enhance security as well as providing self-service features such as password reset.• Develop and implement Privileged Access Management.To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
• Postgraduate qualifications and extensive experience in an information systems and Identity management role or equivalent• Experience in Microsoft identity management systems (MIM), Single sign-on, Active directory and Azure AD, system administration for Windows and Linux servers• Proven experience to design and optimise business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems within complex organisation structures.• Demonstrated experience identifying complex technical issues, thinking laterally and applying analytical skills to develop appropriate options for resolution.
