The role:
This full-time position will report to the Distribution Site Manager and will be responsible for supervising their allocated warehouse staff members by taking responsibility for their performance in relation to the warehouse operations as per agreed KPIs while maintaining and help lift WHS standards.
This role presents as a unique opportunity to take great teams and results and make it better. The Successful candidate will have proven supervision skills and experience in all things operational. Receipt, storage, distribution of finished products in a 3PL and 4PL environment. Having experience in SAP WM and QMS systems will be an advantage.
The work hours will vary from 5 am to 6 pm and may require opening the site or close the site as per business requirement.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead, motivate and supervise all operations staff.
- Develop and coach the team.
- Identify and implement CI improvements.
- Monitor daily productivity to create daily reports.
- Ability to measure the workload to efficiently manage the labour cost.
- Ensure that SLA are always met.
- Be customer centric.
- Report KPI’s to set targets to be achieved.
- Ability to resolve staff disputes and grievances as per EBOS policy.
- Maintain and develop processes that are efficient and quality compliant.
- Develop and review WIs and SOPs.
- Follow QMS guidelines.
- Responsible for WHS.
- Actively manage transport queries and provide solutions.
- Understanding of Lead time and RDD to meet DIFOT requirements.
- Attend weekly, monthly and quarterly meetings with customer.
- Create and present weekly, monthly and quarterly business report.
- Regular meetings with team and management team.
- Develop and maintain functional working relationships with: Distribution Centre Manager, General Manager, Head of Operations, Head of QA, Commercial Manager, Key Account Managers and BD Manager.
