Monash Law Clinics provide a range of community legal services and programs conducted by legal practitioners and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate law students. These services are conducted both to demonstrate the Faculty's professional capability and community commitment, and to provide a structured professional setting through which students can gain clinical experience in professional practice.

The Opportunity

We have a new opportunity for a Client Services Officer to join the dynamic team that upholds a vibrant research culture and a strong commitment to diverse and innovative legal service. The Clinic Services Officer position will be an integral part of the administrative team and contribute to the efficient operation of the Monash Law Clinics.

This role will be across two locations (Melbourne CBD and Clayton campus) and have a focus on delivering a range of high-quality administrative services including continuous improvement of business operations, managing legal administrative processes and maintaining excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role will report to the Senior Manager Partnerships and Clinics and be a first point of contact for visitors and callers, playing a key role in conveying the professional image of Monash Law.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for maintaining service standards such as prompt issue resolutions, adherence to privacy and compliance and continuous improvement of activities that relate to service practices and quality assurance. 

The appointee will have previous experience in a legal service, proficient in the Google suite and ideally been exposed to ActionStep software. This will also include excellent front-line, reception and administration skills and strong organisational skills with excellent customer service.
