The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join the office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise and Engagement) in a key leadership position and work at the forefront of Enterprise Strategic Delivery and Systems at Monash University.

As the Director, Business and Sales Enablement you will lead the implementation and adoption of Monash engagement systems, along with complementary tools, frameworks, training and organisational rituals. This critical role will drive visibility, collaboration and alignment across the Monash business development ecosystem, supporting key objectives and best practice for partner engagement and enabling visibility across a fully weighted pipeline of opportunities, forecasted income, business intelligence and reporting capabilities.

Leveraging your extensive experience in both business development and/or sales and managing large-scale projects, you will also be responsible for roll-out of change management for a significant update to corporate strategy, structure, and supporting systems and processes.

Additionally, you will be required to coordinate with delivery teams to deliver system maintenance requirements on time and within budget.

Working within a start-up-like environment within the larger University landscape, you will have demonstrated excellence in collaboration, leadership and influence in a matrixed or large and complex management structure, including the ability to work cooperatively and strategically in a cross-functional environment with all levels of staff. As a thought leader, you’ll have a proven track record of innovation and strategic vision, and thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment.

Diversity is one of our greatest strengths at Monash. We encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, culturally and linguistically diverse people, people with disabilities, neurodiverse people, and people of all genders, sexualities, and age groups.

Be part of our story. Work with us to #ChangeIt.

Monash avidly supports flexible and hybrid working arrangements. We have a range of policies in place enabling staff to combine work and personal commitments. This includes supporting parents.

Your employment is contingent upon the satisfactory completion of all pre-employment and/or background checks required for the role, as determined by the University.
