The Opportunity

Join the dynamic team at the Centre of Cardiovascular Research and Education in Therapeutics (CCRET) as a Data Analyst, where your expertise will shape critical decisions and drive impactful research. In this role, you will manage large, complex datasets, ensuring accuracy and integrity while extracting, transforming and linking data across various platforms. Your contributions will be essential to advancing the Centre’s strategic initiatives through comprehensive data management and in-depth analyses, guiding stakeholders in making informed, data-driven decisions.

The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in advancing the Centre’s research initiatives by providing expert data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management. You will develop and deliver reports and presentations that address complex challenges, helping to inform key decisions. Your innovative approach will drive the creation of new methodologies and frameworks that align with university policies, ensuring compliance and successfully meeting project objectives.

If you are passionate about data and have a strong foundation in quantitative analysis, this role provides an excellent opportunity to showcase your skills. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in statistics, mathematics, public health or a related field, with extensive experience in technical data management and proficiency in Stata, SQL, R, and relational databases. A strong understanding of public health principles and experience with complex data linkage will also be highly regarded.
