The School of Mathematics is one of the largest five schools in the Faculty and fosters strong interdisciplinary collaborations with departments such as Physics and Astronomy, Data Futures, Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, and faculties including Business and Economics, Arts, Medicine, Information Technology, and Engineering. The School maintains partnerships with leading external institutions, including CSIRO, the Defence Science and Technology Organisation, the National Australia Bank, and numerous global research institutes and universities.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Lecturer to join our collaborative and dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of the School of Mathematics, the successful candidate will be expected to make significant contributions to the teaching mission of the University. Responsibilities will include preparing and delivering lectures and applied classes, developing course materials, and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in probability and stochastic processes who are active in advancing scholarly, research, and professional activities relevant to the discipline.
