The Opportunity

The Monash Addiction Research Centre (MARC) is seeking a committed Research Program Officer to support its innovative research programs. This role is vital in ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality research and administrative services that underpin MARC’s mission to improve responses to addiction. From coordinating research activities to assisting with grant applications and funding proposals, this position offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to impactful research within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

In this diverse role, you will also manage a variety of responsibilities, including coordinating events, and preparing detailed reports for research leaders and stakeholders. You will play a key role in tracking research impact and contributing to external communications, such as newsletters and policy submissions, ensuring the Centre’s activities align with its strategic goals.

We are looking for a motivated individual with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, alongside exceptional organisational and project coordination skills. Your ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and support projects to completion will be critical to success in this role.

If you are passionate about supporting innovative research and are ready to contribute to a vibrant and collaborative team, we encourage you to apply and be part of MARC’s important work.
