The Opportunity

Are you a passionate leader in medical education and simulation training? Monash University’s Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences—ranked among the top 50 universities worldwide in clinical and health sciences—is seeking a Simulation Medical Lead to drive excellence in our Eastern Health Clinical School (EHCS) Simulation Program.

This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact by leading an innovative, hands-on program that bridges theory and practice for future healthcare professionals. Based at Box Hill and Maroondah Hospitals, the Simulation Program plays a pivotal role in shaping confident, skilled, and compassionate doctors.

As the Simulation Medical Lead, you will:

  • Oversee and enhance the Simulation Program, ensuring alignment with Monash and Deakin University curricula

  • Lead a dedicated team of Clinical Skills Educators and medical facilitators

  • Foster collaboration with key clinical and academic stakeholders

  • Drive curriculum innovation, faculty development, and excellence in simulation-based education

This role is ideal for an experienced medical professional with a background in critical care or another relevant specialty, a passion for medical education, and expertise in simulation training.
