The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Research Officer to provide high-quality research support to our dynamic team. About the Role:
As a Research Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our diverse research programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting laboratory-based experiments, data collection, and analysis
  • Planning, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with research protocols
  • Assisting in documentation, literature reviews, and report preparation
  • Maintaining a safe and compliant research environment
  • Collaborating effectively with colleagues, research partners, and graduate students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and support laboratory experiments and data analysis
  • Stay updated with the latest research developments and techniques
  • Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and literature reviews
  • Ensure compliance with research protocols and safety standards
  • Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to support research goals

About You: We are looking for a motivated individual with:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Honours preferred)
  • Expertise in cell culture, molecular biology, and/or protein chemistry
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High-level computer literacy and adaptability to new software
