The Opportunity

Join Prof. Jamie Rossjohn’s innovative research team at Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute! We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Research Officer to provide exceptional research services and support the operations of our cutting-edge lab.

As a Research Officer, you will play a vital role in advancing the delivery of our research program outcomes. The responsibilities will include preparing lab materials, performing administrative and operational tasks, and assisting with key projects in T cell immunity.

The successful candidate will provide essential laboratory and administrative support, including administering experiments and collecting data to meet research objectives. The role will stay updated on developments in the field through collaboration with staff and attending relevant meetings and seminars.

Additionally, you will assist with the cloning, overexpression, and purification of proteins for biophysical experiments and x-ray crystallography, playing a pivotal role in advancing our research program. Providing expert advice and timely support to both researchers and students.
