Exciting Opportunity at Monash University: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering is seeking a motivated and skilled academic to join our Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering (ECSE) at the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level. This is a chance to contribute to cutting-edge education, research, and professional activities shaping the future of technology.

In this role, you will make significant contributions to teaching, engage with students, and collaborate with colleagues in delivering innovative courses. Your work will complement our strengths in control systems, wireless technology, signal processing, and AI techniques, underpinned by expertise in electronics, RF, sensors, energy systems, and computing devices—driving real-world applications that fuel innovation.

    • Demonstrated skills in statistical analysis and manuscript preparation, with a track record of refereed research publications
    • Strong teaching experience in a tertiary environment
    • Commitment and passion for engaging in scholarly and research activities

Level C - Senior Lecturer:

Please submit the following:

  • Resume
  • 1-page Research Summary outlining your mission
  • Cover letter addressing your experience in the 4 following areas:
    • Publication record in high-quality refereed journals, conferences, or equivalent textbooks/teaching resources
    • Ability to lead outstanding research and manage a research team and projects
    • Proven success in securing significant external research grants
    • Strong teaching experience, including course coordination, in a tertiary environment
