The Opportunity

Join our collaborative team as a Research Fellow in health economics and contribute to high-impact projects that inform healthcare decision-making. This position will involve undertaking research in economic evaluation and priority setting including trial-based economic evaluations, modelled economic evaluations and burden of disease studies. You will work as part of a supportive team, with opportunities to contribute to the development of methods that advance the field of health economics.

This position will play a key role in the delivery of health economics projects by conducting literature searches, data collection, unit costing and statistical analyses. You will analyse data, synthesise results and provide solutions to project-related questions. With guidance from senior academic staff, you will develop your research expertise and contribute to the preparation of publications, reports and presentations to communicate research outcomes.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with an honours degree or higher qualification in a health-related or economics-related field. Experience in statistical software such as Stata, SPSS or R and a demonstrated understanding of health services and health policy will also be essential to your success in this role.
