The Opportunity

Monash University is seeking an outstanding and motivated Research Fellow to join the School of Physics and Astronomy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to leading-edge research in theoretical condensed matter physics, with a strong focus on correlated quantum phenomena the following areas:

  • Ultracold atomic gases
  • Light-matter systems

As a Research Fellow, you will conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in high-impact journals, and present findings at major international conferences and workshops. You will also mentor and support PhD and honours students within a dynamic and research-intensive environment. 

The successful candidate must hold a PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics, or a closely related field.
