The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Casual Project Coordinator to join the dynamic shared services team within the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting research funding activities and ensuring the delivery of high-quality administrative and operational processes that underpin our School’s research excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering end-to-end administrative support for research funding processes, ensuring documentation is complete and compliant with Monash policies and best practices
- Preparing high-quality presentations, communications, and briefing documents tailored to a variety of research stakeholders
- Responding to and triaging enquiries related to external funding applications
- Maintaining accurate research records to support reporting and identify emerging research administration needs
- Assisting the Senior Research Manager and Deputy Head of School (Research) with project coordination tasks and general administrative support
About You
You are highly organised, adaptable, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail. You’ll have prior experience in research administration or project coordination, ideally within a university or health-related environment, and an interest in supporting impactful public health research.
