Remuneration: $116,075 - $128,126 pa HEW Level 08 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to help drive our Student Management Systems Transformation – a flagship initiative supporting the University’s strategic goals. This isn’t just a system replacement program – it’s an opportunity to reinvent how students connect, engage, and succeed at University.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive the development lifecycle of digital solutions as part of the Custom Dev Team.
  • Provide complex software development expertise to deliver digital solutions
  • Work directly with users to understand business requirements and the end state of web applications in an Agile continuous delivery environment
  • Provide guidance to senior stakeholders, managing the implications for policies or processes
  • Have a strong a focus of continuous improvement and service excellence

Who You Are:

  • Experienced developer who enjoys leading projects from concept to completion.
  • Thrive on solving complex problems and delivering secure, scalable web applications.
  • Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders and translating their needs into clear technical outcomes.
  • Bring strong expertise in cloud-based development, especially with platforms like Google Cloud.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and enjoy sharing what I learn with others.
  • Take pride in writing clean, maintainable code and following best practices like unit testing, code reviews, and release management.
  • Analytical and strategic, always looking for ways to improve productivity and deliver better outcomes.
  • Enjoy mentoring and supporting others to get the most out of cloud platforms and development tools.
