Remuneration: $83,424 - $95,825 pa HEW Level 05 (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

Join the respiratory research team as a Clinical Trials Administrative Officer and contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical trials and research projects. The role provides essential administrative and research support to ensure the smooth operation of study activities and the successful achievement of research outcomes. Responsibilities include managing the scheduling of study visits, coordinating sample processing and shipping, tracking finances and contracts and assisting with study start-up activities.

This position also contributes to patient recruitment by assisting study coordinators, supports the transition of trial documentation to digital systems and provides coordination for research events including conferences, workshops and seminars. Open and effective communication with colleagues, research collaborators and stakeholders is essential to ensuring successful outcomes and strengthening the impact of the team’s research. The role is embedded within a collaborative environment that values high-quality research administration and project support.

We are seeking someone with strong project and administrative skills, preferably in a clinical research setting along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail, high computer literacy and a commitment to confidentiality and research standards are highly valued.
