The Opportunity
Do you want to turn groundbreaking research into high-impact ventures? Monash Innovation is seeking a dynamic Investment Manager to help us to shape the next generation of university spinouts and investment initiatives.
In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with inventors, founders, and investors to guide early-stage technologies through the spinout pathway, connecting ideas to capital, strategy, and execution. You’ll be instrumental in helping to build venture-ready companies, securing early stage and follow-on investment funding, and supporting the development of Monash’s future investment funds.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage a portfolio of spinouts, providing strategic and operational support
- Build investor networks and secure resources for early-stage ventures
- Lead investment proposals and due diligence for Monash Investment Holdings
- Collaborate across legal, finance, and governance teams to streamline spinout processes
- Contribute to fund management and future investment fund design
- Advise on University-wide innovation programs and enterprise initiatives
