The Opportunity

Are you excited about higher education and ready to make a real impact on the academic journeys of future researchers? We’re looking for a detail-oriented, service-driven Graduate Research Admissions Officer to join our dynamic team and help deliver a seamless, high-quality experience for graduate research applicants.

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our Graduate Research team, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the end-to-end admissions and scholarship process. From assessing applications and ensuring compliance, to providing expert advice and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, your work will directly support the next generation of academic leaders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing domestic and international applications for admission and scholarships.
  • Conducting eligibility checks and processing applications, offers, deferrals, and variations.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and timely communication to applicants and faculty.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and generating reports.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to service excellence.

What You'll Bring:

  • A tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in administration or education.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with a sharp eye for detail.
  • A proactive, customer-first mindset and a collaborative team spirit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, customer relationship and student management systems.
  • Knowledge of Australian education systems, visa regulations, and ESOS compliance is highly desirable.
