The Opportunity

As an Investigation and Risk Assessment Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in protecting our community by managing and investigating concerning or threatening behaviour with professionalism, empathy, and precision. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Lead thorough investigations using evidence-based practices and procedural fairness. 
  • Apply best-practice risk assessment strategies to identify and mitigate threats early. 
  • Collaborate with experts across legal, security, counselling, and residential services to develop tailored solutions. 
  • Provide compassionate support and guidance to staff and students during challenging situations. 
  • Drive awareness and resilience through presentations and resource development.

What we’re looking for: 

  • A degree in counselling, social work, or a related behavioural field or  significant equivalent experience. 
  • Strong investigative skills and knowledge of risk management principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to manage sensitive, high-stakes situations. 
  • A collaborative mindset to work across multiple teams and stakeholders.
