The Opportunity
Monash is seeking an Indigenous Graduate Program Manager to lead the coordination, delivery and continuous improvement of the Indigenous Graduate Program. This role plays a key part in strengthening pathways for Indigenous leadership and ensuring all program activities are grounded in Indigenous cultural values, self-determination and community engagement.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, you will:
- Deliver and manage the Indigenous Graduate Program through an Indigenous lens
- Build strong, respectful relationships with Indigenous communities, Elders and stakeholders
- Create culturally safe, supportive experiences for Indigenous graduates
- Oversee program activities, events, projects and evaluation
- Manage a program budget and support broader ODVCI initiatives
- Provide expert advice to internal partners and ensure cultural integrity across all program elements
You will identify as an Indigenous Australian and bring:
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications or extensive experience
- Strong experience engaging with Indigenous communities
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and influencing skills
- Proven project management, planning and organisational capability
- Confidence working with policy, reporting, budgets and University systems
