The Opportunity
The Faculty of Science is seeking an outstanding academic to join the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment to strengthen geoscience research and education.
The Lecturer / Senior Lecturer will develop excellence in research and education in any sub-discipline of geoscience. We are seeking candidates who bring innovative perspectives and new research directions, building on and extending existing strengths within the School. We are particularly interested in geoscientists who are able to integrate detailed field observations with quantitative and/or analytical approaches to investigate the physical and/or geochemical processes recorded in rocks across a range of geological settings. People who can translate these skills into highly quality teaching are particularly well suited to this role.
