The Opportunity
Join the Campus Engagement and Culture team as a Senior Program Coordinator.
The Senior Program Coordinator plays a pivotal role in leading core initiatives within Monash Student Communities program across the Victorian campuses. This includes overseeing the student adviser training program, managing casual staff and working closely with the program’s campus based co-ordinators.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing input into the planning of the Monash Student Communities program and initiatives, and undertake a range of high-level program co-ordination duties including: monitoring and reporting against timeframes and other performance indicators, developing program solutions for future growth, and managing program merchandise. Further, you will coordinate and oversee the delivery of high-quality, innovative community-building activities. This involves the development and implementation of quality assurance processes and initiatives that provide effective engagement and support to students from pre-arrival, at orientation and throughout the academic year. This includes cross-campus program promotion to support these activities.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong educational background or substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a degree qualification in a relevant field with extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
This role will be required to work varying hours when delivering events.
