The Opportunity
The Educational Designer is responsible for driving innovative educational design that elevates teaching and learning across the faculty, shaping impactful learning experiences through the strategic development of contemporary educational approaches, technologies and learning environments. This position exists to champion high-quality educational practice and guide stakeholders in advancing cohesive, future-focused learning solutions.
The role provides comprehensive leadership in advancing learning and teaching projects across the faculty, shaping initiatives that enhance units, assessment approaches, and the use of educational technologies and learning spaces. In this role, you will offer informed guidance to staff in refining curriculum and instructional design, build productive cross-faculty partnerships, coordinate clear communication on key initiatives, and contribute to ongoing academic development while actively supporting collaborative team practices and emerging pedagogical directions.
As the successful candidate, you will bring demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, digital learning design and the application of contemporary educational technologies across complex environments. You will draw on strong analytical and conceptual capabilities, advanced project and time management skills, and substantial experience delivering impactful professional learning. Your background in tertiary education, combined with proficiency in leading-edge learning platforms and pedagogical innovation, will enable you to excel in this position.
