The Opportunity

The Department of Paramedicine is seeking to appoint an Education Focused Lecturer to join the team and contribute to excellence in education through the design and delivery of high quality teaching. This position plays a key role in shaping contemporary learning experiences and supporting innovation in curriculum design through evidence-informed approaches. The role contributes to the strategic direction of teaching and learning while maintaining a strong focus on student engagement and achievement.

The position designs delivers and evaluates teaching activities that support clear learning outcomes and inclusive learning environments. It leads unit or course development, contributes to assessment design and implementation and ensures high quality marking and feedback. The role engages students through a student-centred approach using learning technologies to enhance teaching practice and contributes to scholarly activity supervision and cross-campus initiatives that support education excellence and student success.

We are seeking a candidate with a doctoral or masters qualification or equivalent accreditation and current or eligible AHPRA registration where applicable. The position requires strong teaching experience, demonstrated capability in curriculum development, scholarly or research activity that informs educational practice and an understanding of industry needs and employability outcomes. Team leadership skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in teaching and learning are also essential.
