This position will be responsible for supervising daily facility operations across aquatic, indoor and outdoor sport venues, ensuring services are delivered to established standards and operational requirements. Working closely with casual staff, the Duty Supervisor will provide leadership, guidance and feedback while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork and customer service excellence. The role will oversee facility safety through regular inspections, risk assessments and compliance activities, coordinate maintenance requirements, support the delivery of major events, and maintain pool and plant operations in accordance with industry guidelines. The position will also undertake a range of administrative duties including financial reconciliations, reporting, customer service support, incident management and promotional activities, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, policy development and positive stakeholder engagement.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience supervising teams and supporting facility operations within an aquatic, sport or recreation environment. You will hold current Pool Lifeguard (SISSS00111) and First Aid (HLTAID011) qualifications, with experience in pool and plant operations highly regarded. Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills will enable you to effectively manage competing priorities, support and develop team members, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will be a collaborative and proactive professional with sound computer skills, a commitment to safety and compliance, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.
