The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of School, the focus of this role will be to lead both research and teaching for the advancement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People’s social and emotional well-being.
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for providing academic leadership of the Murrup Bung-allambee Indigenous Psychology Group, guiding its research agenda, mentoring Indigenous students and staff engaged with the group, and continuing its work advancing culturally responsive and decolonial approaches to psychology teaching and practice.
The appointee will have a doctoral qualification and/or recognised significant experience in the relevant discipline area.
