The Opportunity
Join the team at the Monash Animal Research Platform (MARP) as a Service Technician where you will be responsible for operating specialised equipment correctly and safely in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
The Service Technician will ensure efficient and timely completion of key activities to meet the needs of the facility. From meticulously preparing supplies, including caging, water bottles and environmental enrichment, to managing the correct operation of various laboratory equipment.
The ideal candidate will assist with equipment maintenance, managing stock supplies, performing routine upkeep, and ensuring that the facility remains clean and hygienic. This role involves repetitive work, but accuracy, reliability and a commitment to high standards are essential.
