The Opportunity
As a Storage Engineer, you’ll play a key role in planning, delivering, and optimising data storage services that support our business priorities. You’ll manage hardware and software, ensure data protection, resolve incidents, and contribute to the implementation of new technologies and improvements. Collaboration is central to this role, as you’ll work closely with other technical teams and stakeholders to deliver seamless, secure, and high-performing data storage solutions.
Day to Day Key Responsibilities include:

Support strategic storage management initiatives aligned with business goals.

Maintain and monitor storage hardware/software, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Investigate and resolve incidents, recommend fixes, and implement preventative measures.

Assess and implement changes based on business needs and management direction.

Provide technical expertise in security controls, risk assessments, and incident response.

Ensure ethical handling, accessibility, and integrity of business data.

Offer expert guidance on storage tools, methods, and policy compliance.

Build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders to deliver system improvements.
About You:

Proven experience in developing and managing complex data storage systems.

Familiarity with server environments (Windows, Linux, VMware ESX), storage platforms (NetApp, Dell), and backup solutions (Commvault, PPDM) is a plus.

Strong planning and organizational skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.

Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a technical setting.

Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.

High-level analytical and problem-solving skills, with data-driven decision-making.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly.
