We are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Proposal Development Manager within our Faculty Office. Reporting to the Director, External Relations, you will be responsible for developing proposals and specialised reports, plans, correspondence, recommendations and advice to support major and strategic initiatives, including multi-million dollar projects. 

As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include to:

  • Manage successful strategic projects and proposals with significant autonomy, including conversion of new multimillion-dollar funding opportunities by managing, writing and conceptualising written proposal submissions to the external market, in consultation with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Prepare specialised communications including reports, correspondence, recommendations and advice for senior management and/or external audiences on highly-complex issues
  • Develop project budgets and prepare financial projections, including developing financial models for business case and grant proposal developments, which inform Faculty and University investment decisions

To ensure your success in this role you will have extensive relevant experience, preferably in university or institute research, government, health service or other related industry environment and hold a postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.

  3. Superior written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to articulate complex or technical concepts in various formats and the ability to liaise, mediate and influence at all levels
