As the Podiatrist, you will provide podiatry service to the patients in both inpatient and outpatient areas at Noarlunga Hospital, GP Plus at Marion and Flinders Medical Centre which is provided in the context of a multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for the clinical assessment, intervention education and planning in wound management and high risk foot management. Other streams of care include nail surgery assessment and procedures, musculoskeletal assessment and treatment interventions and paediatric assessment and treatment interventions. As the podiatrist, you will be responsible and accountable for patient safety and quality by providing safe and effective care.

To be successful in this role, you will have a bachelor of Applied Science in Podiatry or equivalent, the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people in a verbal and written manner, a high level  of interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with patients, professional and administrative staff and staff in other agencies and well developed negotiating, decision making and problem solving skills.
