The Services Assistant (Catering & Utility) Role

Bordertown Memorial Hospital is now accepting applications for the Bordertown – Catering & Utility Services Assistant Casual Pool. Applications are welcome for casual employment.

The Services Assistant is responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service, that involves the catering and cleaning of the health unit. Duties may include the preparation, service and delivery of food to clients, and general housekeeping.

The Services Assistant may also be required to undertake laundry duties.

A Casual Pool works by applications being accepted on a continuing basis for a period of 12 months. A selection panel will regularly review and assess applications, and keep you informed during the process.

Bordertown Memorial Hospital provides acute services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children by local general practitioners to outpatients and aged care beds and is part of the Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN)

Patients may commence their stay at Bordertown Memorial Hospital but finish their care at one of the neighbouring hospitals with specialist medical or allied health input when required. All hospitals in the South East work collaboratively to support the patient care needs of the region.
