Seeking a Clinical Services Manager, Aboriginal Health Services: Lead the Way in Culturally Responsive Healthcare

About the Role:

Reporting to the Executive Director Aboriginal Health, you will provide pivotal coordination of patient care delivery in the Aboriginal Health Pathway within Aboriginal Health. Some of your responsibilities may involve: 

  • Delivering culturally focused primary health care via  a range of preventive and health promoting programs in the community. 
  • Local resource management of staff, food s and services and operations of the clinics. 
  • Ensuring culturally appropriate, equitable and comprehensive primary health care and the effective management of chronic disease o Aboriginal patients/clients. 

About you:

  • Demonstrated ability to participate and contribute to key decision making processes at a senior level. 
  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate and at least 3-years post-registration experience. 
  • Significant experience in working in a nursing leadership role with the Aboriginal community, Aboriginal and mainstream service providers. 
  • Experience working with clients with complex chronic disease. 
  • Experience in Human Resource Management and the financial asset management of a ward/unit.
