The Role

Registered Nurses at this level are essential contributors to health service settings, delivering vital nursing and/or midwifery care. As they advance from novice to proficient practitioners, they refine their skills and deepen their expertise through ongoing professional development and hands-on experience. Embracing the responsibility for maintaining high standards of care, these nurses not only excel in their own practice but also effectively manage and oversee the care activities delegated to others. This role is a dynamic journey of growth, where each day offers new opportunities to enhance capabilities and make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Our Allied and Community Health Teams are multi-disciplinary teams who work together towards the common goal of improving health outcomes of our community members. Services are based in Port Augusta and Whyalla, with regular outreach clinics held in Roxby Downs, Quorn, Hawker, Maree and Leigh Creek.
