About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health challenges to join the Adult Community Mental Health team.

Community-based mental health nurses play a vital role in Australia’s healthcare system. With 1 in 5 people experiencing a mental illness in any given year, the demand for mental health support continues to rise. Various socioeconomic factors, such as access to services, living conditions and employment status, can influence someone’s mental health. This impact is not limited to the individual but extends to their families and caregivers. As such, a community mental health nurse’s role is to provide all affected individuals with the support they need. Join our Mental Health Community Team at NALHN to make a difference.

  • maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as an enrolled nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. In order to administer medicines, must have completed a Board-approved program of study which includes an administration of medicines unit.

Qualifications and / or experience in mental health is desirable.
