  • In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Locality Allowance and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

About the Role:

As a Revenue Officer at FUNLHN, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient financial operations of our hospital. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader, you'll be responsible for managing hospital billing, generating claims to health funds and third parties, handling cash collections, and ensuring accurate banking processes. You’ll also monitor outstanding patient balances, process approved debt waivers, and assist with compliance and efficiency reviews. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial health of a leading healthcare provider while developing your skills in a dynamic, supportive team environment.

About You:

  • Successful record in identifying customer needs, developing service strategies and providing quality customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience in use of computerised accounting and billing systems that are relevant to hospital or medical billing and receipting functions.
  • Proven experience in using various Microsoft products or other similar software packages.

  • This is a part time vacancy, working 60 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
