As a Training Officer at Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN), you will have the opportunity to drive staff development, promote workplace safety, and ensure the delivery of high-quality training across the region. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and recording training to maintain a safe and supportive workplace. By collaborating with a range of stakeholders, including managers and team leaders, you’ll ensure that EFNLHN’s mandatory training program is effective, consistent, and aligned with best practices in health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and deliver essential training such as Mental Health First Aid, MAPA, Manual Handling, and more.
  • Administer and monitor mandatory training through iLearn and ensure compliance.
  • Build relationships with staff at all levels to understand training needs and foster a positive learning culture.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement programs and develop reports on training progress.

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience in training delivery (face-to-face or virtual), data management, and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A self-starter who works well independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of office administration, computer systems, and training coordination.
