About the Role

RN-1 As a nurse at this level, you will provide high-quality nursing services across various health service settings. You’ll have the opportunity to grow from a novice to a proficient practitioner, with continuous support to build your knowledge, skills, and capabilities. Through professional development and hands-on experience, you will consolidate your nursing expertise and play an integral role in delivering outstanding care to patients.

At this stage in your career, you will take responsibility for maintaining your own professional standards and ensuring activities delegated to others are completed with the utmost care. This role provides the perfect environment for developing your nursing practice while contributing to a supportive and dynamic healthcare team. If you’re passionate about advancing your career and delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.

RN-2 As a Clinical Nurse (CN), you will provide exceptional mental health nursing care across a variety of settings within the Mental Health Care Program (MHCP). With your experience and/or further study, you’ll demonstrate continuous growth from competent to proficient practice. You will take responsibility for your own practice standards, ensure activities delegated to others are carried out appropriately, and provide guidance to less experienced staff. This role offers you the opportunity to develop professionally while making a significant impact on patient care.

While the CN role is primarily clinical, you may also be involved in portfolios aligned with your career development plan and the MHCP’s priorities. You’ll have the chance to contribute to broader initiatives, such as clinical teaching, research, or complex MHCP-wide projects, including the development of clinical protocols, guidelines, process mapping, and other key activities. If you’re looking to build on your expertise and play a pivotal role in advancing mental health care, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
