Join Our Team as a Corporate General Services Manager – Lead Operational Excellence Across RMCLHN

Lead essential service operations that keep our hospitals and aged care facilities running smoothly, while advancing excellence, safety, and sustainability across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network.

About the Role:

Are you a passionate leader with a heart for health care and a drive for excellence in food services? RMCLHN is seeking a dedicated Corporate General Services Manager to lead and inspire teams across our regional health network. This is a unique opportunity to shape the delivery of high-quality, culturally sensitive, and nutritionally sound food services that make a real difference in the lives of patients and aged care residents. You’ll play a key role in driving innovation, safety, and service excellence across food, cleaning, laundry, and general services - while fostering a culture of care, professionalism, and continuous improvement. If you're ready to lead with purpose and contribute to the wellbeing of rural South Australians, we’d love to hear from you.

In this role, you will provide coordinated, efficient, and effective management of hotel services across RMCLHN, with operational oversight of the Murray Bridge Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital and Riverland General Hospital. You’ll lead portfolio areas including food, cleaning, and laundry services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance, while managing finance, procurement, human resources, and business support functions within these service areas. You’ll drive continuous improvement through auditing, compliance, and sustainability initiatives, support environmental responsibility projects, and oversee the safe operation of the Murray Bridge Heated Pool. In addition, you’ll provide expert advice and operational support to RMCLHN sites, helping deliver seamless, effective, and client-focused services across the network.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Hospitality or Hotel Services Management within SA Health, health, or aged care settings.
  • Skilled in developing reports, briefings, business plans, and KPI reporting.
  • Proven ability to design, review, and improve systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Experienced in research, data analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Strong stakeholder, agency, and community engagement skills.
  • Experienced in project and operational management across multiple functions.
  • Proficient in administration, including finance, HR, procurement, and compliance.
  • Skilled in food services, housekeeping, and laundry operations and standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with high-quality document and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
