About the Role

As a Senior Support Services Officer on night duty, you will play a vital role within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, supporting both clinicians and patients to achieve optimal care outcomes. Your contributions will ensure the smooth delivery of essential support services, including assisting with patient care, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and helping to create a welcoming and responsive atmosphere across the campus.

This role is central to providing high-quality care in the Spinal Injury and Brain Injury state-wide services. You will be directly involved in patient support, including assisting with pressure relief turns, while ensuring all work areas are maintained to the highest standard in line with prescribed policies and procedures. Your dedication will directly impact the comfort, safety, and recovery of patients, making a meaningful difference every night.

About You

We are seeking a committed and adaptable individual with a passion for supporting patients and working effectively within a team-based healthcare environment.

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent, with relevant experience

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and rapport-building skills

  • Able to prioritise tasks, use initiative, and handle challenging situations

  • Knowledge of WHS, Equal Opportunity, and customer service principles
