An exciting opportunity exists to join the Rural Support Service as the Principal Industrial Relations Adviser or Senior Industrial Relations Adviser, with appointment at ASO6 or ASO7 depending on your experience and expertise. In this influential role, you will provide high-quality industrial and employee relations advice, support complex workforce matters, and contribute to the development and implementation of policies, strategies and initiatives across the regional Local Health Networks. Whether you are an experienced Senior Adviser ready to progress, or a seasoned Principal Adviser seeking a new challenge, this role offers the chance to shape industrial relations outcomes and support a strong, collaborative, and high-performing workforce across rural South Australia. The role offers flexibility, including negotiable arrangements and the option to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert industrial and employee relations advice to HR teams, managers, and executives.
  • Manage or support resolution of misconduct, disputes, grievances, and tribunal matters.
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of IR policies, procedures, and agreements.
  • Support workforce capability through training, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
