WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?     

The Clinical Senior Social Worker within the Children’s Health & Development Team, Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network is an experienced clinician who provides high-quality, person-centred social work services while offering clinical leadership to allied health professionals across the region. This role plays a key part in driving improvements in service quality, safety, and responsiveness to community needs through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, managers, and key stakeholders. 

The position also contributes to the development and implementation of models of care and workforce initiatives, supporting continuous improvement and the delivery of equitable, community-focused health services across South Australia.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?     

You will……….     

  • Provide high-level, specialist social work services across rural and remote settings, including complex case management, clinical consultancy and support for at-risk and priority population groups  
  • Deliver professional leadership, supervision and guidance to social workers and multidisciplinary teams, supporting best practice, workforce capability and consistent service delivery across the region  
  • Contribute to service planning, development and evaluation by providing expert advice to management on practice improvement, resource allocation and system redesign  
  • Lead collaboration with stakeholders including consumers, carers, Aboriginal communities, universities and service partners to ensure culturally safe, client-centred and evidence-based care  
  • Drive quality improvement, research, reporting and education activities that strengthen service outcomes, workforce development and continuous improvement across the health network
