WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Senior Narrative Therapist (registered/recognised qualifications in either Social Work, Psychology or Occupational Therapy) to deliver specialist, recovery-focused mental health care to consumers across rural and remote South Australia. Working as an independent practitioner, you will provide assessment and short-term therapeutic interventions via videoconference, while also contributing to clinical leadership, supervision and workforce development across multidisciplinary teams.
In this role, you will play a key part in advancing Narrative Therapy practice by delivering education and training, supporting clinicians to build capability, and contributing to service development and high standards of care through strong collaboration with psychiatrists, mental health teams and key stakeholders.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
You will……….
- Deliver a high-quality specialist Narrative Therapy service to consumers with complex mental health needs across rural and remote South Australia, primarily via telehealth, including assessment, intervention and consultancy.
- Operate with a high level of professional autonomy as a senior clinician, providing expert clinical leadership, reflective practice and guidance on complex cases and therapeutic approaches.
- Lead and support workforce development by providing supervision, education and training to multidisciplinary clinicians, and building capability in Narrative Therapy across regional mental health services.
- Contribute to service development, planning and quality improvement through research, evaluation, development of clinical protocols and advising on best practice and service redesign.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with mental health teams, psychiatrists, primary care providers and other stakeholders to ensure integrated, recovery-oriented and culturally safe care.
