What You'll Be Doing

Based at a negotiable location within the Eyre and Far North region and classified at RN/M2A level, this role will coordinate quality, risk and safety activities across EFNLHN in collaboration with the Regional QRS Manager and multidisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating quality improvement projects and programs across the network, including leading defined portfolio areas
  • Maintaining and monitoring incident management, feedback and risk registers, including contribution to the Cluster Risk Register and Work Health & Safety systems
  • Supporting accreditation preparation, documentation and the implementation of recommendations
  • Collecting, analysing and reporting on quality and safety data and performance indicators
  • Providing education, professional leadership and practical guidance on quality improvement to clinical teams and managers across EFNLHN sites

What You'll Bring

  • Current registration as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and a valid practising certificate
  • A minimum of three years post-registration experience, or current classification as a Clinical Nurse or Midwife
  • Demonstrated experience in quality improvement, data collection and reporting within a healthcare setting
  • Sound knowledge of quality improvement systems, relevant legislation, NSQHS Standards and contemporary nursing or midwifery practice as applied in SA Health contexts
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and negotiation skills across multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel to other EFNLHN sites across the Eyre and Far North region as required
