- AHP3 Salary: $112, 139 - $120,294 per annum (adjusted to hours worked)
- Temporary, Full-time – 12-month contract
WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?
This temporary position provides an exciting opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to deliver specialist Child Protection, Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence support across the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN) under the direction of the Advanced Clinical Lead – Prevention and Response to Violence Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN). Working alongside the ACL- PARVAN, you will provide complex clinical consultation, advice and service response to support safe, coordinated and culturally responsive care for children, women and families experiencing violence, abuse or neglect. You will support the implementation of PARVAN policies and practices, support clinicians managing complex cases, and build strong partnerships with internal teams, Aboriginal health services, and external agencies.
You will play a key role in strengthening service delivery through clinical support, education, supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives. With a strong focus on cultural safety, evidence-based practice, and family-centred care, you will contribute to improving outcomes for children, women and families across BHFLHN while supporting the development of a responsive, integrated, and innovative health service.

This role allows for flexibility to work from any of our BHFLHN sites by negotiation, or the ability to work remotely, and benefit from the work-life balance this provides.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Are you an experienced Social Worker with specialist knowledge in Child Protection, Domestic and Family Violence, and supporting children and families with complex needs?
- Can you provide specialised clinical support, and consultation to multidisciplinary teams while confidently working with complex and sensitive matters?
- Do you have the ability to build strong partnerships with Aboriginal communities, consumers, government agencies and service providers to deliver culturally safe and responsive care?
- Are you passionate about developing others through clinical supervision, education, mentoring and sharing contemporary evidence-based practice?
- Can you support service improvements by applying critical thinking, professional judgement and innovative approaches to strengthen outcomes for vulnerable children and families?
- Do you have an Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers?

- Build strong partnerships with Aboriginal Health, government agencies and community services to improve outcomes.
- Drive service improvement through evidence-based practice, quality evaluation and clinical leadership through the direction of the ACL - PARVAN.
