We’re excited to offer a newly created opportunity for a passionate and driven Recruitment Officer to join our People & Culture team supporting recruitment across our entire local health network, including Lyell McEwin and Modbury Hospitals. This is your chance to play a vital role in shaping the workforce that delivers essential health services to more than 400,000 South Australians within the northern suburbs.
You will partner with hiring managers to develop and execute compelling job advertisements and attraction strategies, ensuring roles are positioned effectively to attract high-quality candidates. This includes coordinating internal and external job advertising across multiple platforms to maximise reach and visibility, while providing advice on recruitment best practice and ensuring compliance with SA Health policies and relevant enterprise agreements.
You will contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and the overall candidate experience across the network. The role also involves providing guidance and troubleshooting support to hiring managers on the effective use of the PageUp system, helping to streamline recruitment activities and address any system-related challenges.
In addition, the position supports international recruitment efforts, including coordinating visa applications and liaising with the Department of Home Affairs.

- A strong communicator with a passion for customer service, who can build rapport quickly with hiring managers and other external agencies
- Able to manage competing priorities and meet tight timeframes without compromising accuracy
- Experienced in recruitment, HR administration, or talent acquisition
- Confident using systems like PageUp or similar platforms
- Knowledgeable about attraction strategies and visa processes
You’ll also bring a collaborative mindset, sound judgement, and the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism.

Our Local Health Network Sites and Services:
NALHN provides a range of hospital (inpatient), outpatient, community and home-based services across multiple sites in Adelaide’s north and north-eastern suburbs, including Aboriginal health, mental health, and GP services.
Lyell McEwin Hospital – the major hospital in northern Adelaide for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetric, paediatrics and outpatient services.
Modbury Hospital – a general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
Mental Health Services – adult and older persons mental health services and statewide forensic mental health services, across hospital and community settings.
Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Primary Health Care Services – provides culturally responsive primary healthcare services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in-hospital and across four community sites.
Primary Health Care Services – including GP Plus sites at Elizabeth, Modbury and Gilles Plains.
