Overview:

 

The Unified Communications Engineer plays a key role in ensuring SA Health's communication systems remain reliable, secure and fit for purpose to support operations.

  • Delivers and supports telecommunications and unified communications services across SA Health.
  • Provides technical expertise in the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of communication technologies.
  • Supports the reliability, availability and security of voice and collaboration platforms.
  • Works collaboratively with Digital Health SA teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver effective communication solutions.
  • Contributes to service improvement, project delivery, and the resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Ensures communication services support the operational needs of clinical and corporate services across SA Health.

Criminal History Screening Requirement

  • A ‘National Police Certificate’ NPC (also known as a ‘Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check’ NCCHC) for employment involving no contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position (general employment)

Immunisation Risk for this position is Category C (minimal patient contact)
