WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?  

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network (BHFLHN), as an Executive Assistant to the Executive Director of Operations, where you will play a key role in supporting executive and organisational priorities. In this varied and rewarding role you will provide comprehensive, confidential and professional administrative support, including complex diary and correspondence management, coordination of briefings, Ministerial and Parliamentary documentation, executive committee support, and records management. You will also have the opportunity to undertake project work and contribute to initiatives that support operational excellence and organisational priorities.

Working in a collaborative environment, you will gain valuable exposure to strategic operations while making a meaningful impact on regional healthcare.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

  • Can you demonstrate exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage complex diaries, coordinate meetings, and prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment?

  • Do you have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing correspondence, reports, briefings, presentations, and executive documentation for senior stakeholders?

  • Can you build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders while providing a professional and customer-focused service?

  • Do you have experience coordinating projects, conducting research, monitoring progress, and managing administrative processes to support organisational objectives?

  • Can you maintain strict confidentiality, exercise sound judgement, and contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional excellence?

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?  

You will……….  

  • Use your organisational skills to provide high-level executive support, manage competing priorities, and ensure the smooth operation of the Executive Director Operations role.

  • Prepare high-quality correspondence, reports, briefing notes, presentations, and other executive documentation that supports informed decision-making.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate communication, collaboration, and the timely resolution of issues.

  • Apply your project coordination and administrative expertise to support key initiatives, monitor progress, and improve business processes and outcomes.

  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement while managing confidential information and delivering a responsive, customer-focused service.
