About the Role

Join our team as a Ward Clerk and play a key role in keeping ward operations running smoothly. You’ll manage patient flow, support admissions, transfers and discharges, and work closely with clinical teams to help deliver great patient care.

  • Manage patient admissions, transfers and discharges
  • Support bed flow and ward admin
  • Liaise with clinical, nursing and medical teams
  • Coordinate with hospital departments and staff
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records
  • Train and support new Ward Clerks
  • Assist with general and clinical patient care

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring strong admin skills, a team focus and a calm, helpful approach to patient care.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Admin experience in a busy, confidential setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and office systems
  • Current keyboard assessment: 30 to 40 wpm, accurate
  • Strong organisation, problem solving and customer service
