Make a difference through the voice of our consumers

Join the Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) as a Patient Experience Coordinator and play a key role in ensuring the voices of patients, consumers, carers and families are heard, understood and translated into meaningful improvements across our health services.

Working within Quality, Risk and Safety, you will provide specialist expertise in patient experience, consumer feedback and service improvement. You will collect and analyse feedback, identify trends and opportunities, and translate consumer insights into information that supports clinical governance, quality improvement, service redesign and strategic decision-making.

This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference to patient-centred care across diverse clinical and community settings, while supporting culturally safe, equitable and accessible health services. You will also provide compassionate and professional support to consumers, including those who may be vulnerable or at risk, helping them navigate services and achieve resolution of their concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the collection, analysis and reporting of patient and consumer feedback, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to inform quality improvement, clinical governance and service redesign.
  • Support consumers, carers and families to navigate services and resolve concerns, with a strong focus on person-centred, culturally safe and equitable care.
  • Develop and deliver meaningful reports, dashboards and insights for managers, governance committees and Executive, ensuring patient experience information supports informed decision-making.
  • Build organisational capability by partnering with multidisciplinary teams and providing education, coaching and specialist advice on using patient experience data to strengthen care, quality and consumer outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

  • Do you have significant experience in patient experience, clinical governance, consumer engagement, quality improvement or service redesign?
  • Are you a confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills, including the ability to manage complex consumer concerns with empathy and professionalism?
  • Do you have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and translate consumer feedback and narrative information into meaningful, governance-ready insights?
  • Are you organised and solutions-focused, with the ability to prioritise competing demands, meet deadlines and use your knowledge of quality improvement, patient experience, equity and culturally safe care to support positive outcomes?

If you have answered yes to the above, we would love to hear from you!
